City Living Gets Old

The LatAm™ bros on here only glorify the major cities Always the same tropes -- recycled takes on the women, the steaks, the airbnbs, the cigars ! All of that is great but its mostly performative, youre seeking validation from women obviously but also from other men Many experiences in big cities afforded to nomads, are superficial at best 100% there is NO nature in cities there is NO adventure in cities I rarely see discourse on here about the qualities of the culture, the beauty to a place, how you're connecting to it, its intangibles, its energy Mfs dont even attempt to speak spanish I would urge any young G's interested in nomading to GO OUT to the countries, the beach towns, the pueblos mágicos There is unbelievable adventure waiting for you outside of the cities Rent a car or a bike. Take a bus. Take 5 busses. Volunteer at a farm, a hostel, an eco-resort. Hustle and build online biz in your free time. There are layers upon layers of depth, adventure, and meaning to be found in Latin America It makes me sad to see it fetishized, packaged and sold to the most basic kinds of people on twitter, then youtube, then IG Its been a struggle on this journey between wanting to gatekeep vs YELLING from the mountaintops about some of these places I'm experiencing Will do my best to share more hidden gems from the road especially getting into South America soon

I agree with this take by my friend Joe here. I am officially moving out of the city come May.
